San Diego Roof Repair
Slipped shingles? Cracked Tiles? We’re Here To Help No Matter What.
Repairing your roof? Good call. Our Roof repairs can extend your roof’s lifespan by up to a decade.
Let’s face it - roofs are expensive. But the good thing is that not every roof needs a full replacement. Maybe you just have a few loose shingles, broken tiles, or a leaky chimney. These issues can be repaired quickly and at a fraction of the cost of a full roof replacement. We can help you even if you just need seasonal maintenance or minor repairs.
Why should I repair my roof?
Especially in San Diego, roofs are easy to neglect. We don’t get rain very often, and as such we don’t get the dramatic leaks that people in other parts of the world do. However, that doesn’t save us from the structural damage and energy inefficiency that comes from a damaged roof. Roof damage can cause expensive damage to the rest of your home by letting the elements into your house, whether that’s wind, rain, dust, plants, or even animals. Repairs are a great idea to avoid paying for more expensive repair work later down the road.

This will depend on the extent of the repairs necessary, the type of repairs needed, as well as the size of the area that needs repairs. We’re happy to take out the guess work and provide a free estimate and consultation with options for most budgets.
-
We always encourage you to do your homework on each roofing company you contact and what kinds of services they bring to the table. Here are a few things you should look for when deciding between multiple proposals:
Materials Used - Take note of the manufacturer, the type and style of the shingle, and the grade of the material. Having this info will make it easier to evaluate multiple proposals.
Availability - Can a roofer meet your needs for when you need a new roof? How long will it take? These types of conveniences must be considered.
Licensing and Insurance - Make sure that the estimate includes any relevant licenses and insurance to avoid homeowner liability later down the line. At Resilient Roofing, we have all the licenses/insurance for our workers. Some companies try to cut costs by reducing spending on licensing and insurance, which can leave the homeowner liable.

Unless otherwise specified, a Resilient Roofing repair is warrantied for a period of 1 year. This is shorter than our warranty on full roof replacements because, while we’re fully confident that the section of roof that we repaired will be good as new, we cannot guarantee the same for the sections of roof that we didn’t work on.

How long a roof repair lasts will depend a lot on the condition of the rest of the roof. Additional damage to the roof, if not fixed properly, will reduce the effectiveness of our repairs. Our repairs are only as good as the rest of the surrounding roof.

The most common causes of wear on a roof are:
Ultraviolet radiation from the sun (This one is completely natural, and it’s why roofs tend to deteriorate over long periods of time)
Expansion and contraction from the heating and cooling of the roof. This can be minimized by choosing lighter shingle colors that reflect more heat.
Wind and water damage. While sometimes unavoidable, properly installed materials are extremely resistant to most weather conditions.
Improper maintenance. This is why we always recommend having a professional perform maintenance on your roof. See this page for more details.
Debris. This can be prevented by cleaning your roof and making sure that debris like branches, sticks, and buildup of dirt is properly removed.
In order to keep your roof in great shape for as long as possible, it is recommended to inspect your roof every 1 to 2 years to check for shingle damage, debris build-up, caulking, and overhanging branches. The frequency of these inspections should increase as the roof ages. If you’re worried that your roof is damaged, book a free consultation with our team of licensed and insured experts by filling out the form above.
