Yes. Unfortunately, roof leaks aren’t something that goes away over time. The issue will not resolve itself, and it will always get worse over time. Roofs can stop leaking if the rain stops or if the water finds another route to enter your home (such as into your walls rather than through your ceiling). Any time you suspect your roof is leaking, you need to get it repaired as soon as possible in order to mitigate the structural damage to your roof that can happen if it is left unaddressed.
